Web Proxy Terms

Effective date: 01.04.2026
Last updated: 01.04.2026

1. Purpose and Scope

1.1. This Web Proxy Acceptable Use and Access Control Policy (the "Policy") governs access to and use of the OnlineProxy.io web proxy feature (the "Web Proxy").

1.2. The Web Proxy is a browser-based feature made available through the OnlineProxy.io website that allows a user to request, load, display, relay, or interact with third-party web resources through technical infrastructure designated by OnlineProxy.io or its service providers.

1.3. This Policy supplements the OnlineProxy.io Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and any other applicable legal documents published on the website.

1.4. If there is a conflict between this Policy and the general Terms of Service with respect to the Web Proxy specifically, this Policy will control for the Web Proxy feature only. In all other respects, the Terms of Service remain in full force.

1.5. Nothing in this Policy limits any non-waivable rights that a user may have under applicable law.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of this Policy:

2.1. "Operator" means the entity identified on OnlineProxy.io as the operator of the platform and the Web Proxy, or any affiliated entity operating the feature.

2.2. "User" means any individual or entity that accesses or uses the Web Proxy.

2.3. "Target Site" means any website, domain, page, platform, service, application, API endpoint, file, or online resource that a User attempts to access through the Web Proxy.

2.4. "Web Proxy Session" means any use of the Web Proxy interface, including loading, rendering, transmitting requests, following links, submitting forms, downloading resources, or otherwise interacting with a Target Site through the Web Proxy.

2.5. "Restricted Target" means any Target Site, category of sites, URL pattern, protocol, destination, file type, or resource that the Operator blocks, filters, throttles, flags, or otherwise restricts.

3. Nature of the Service

3.1. The Web Proxy is provided solely as a controlled technical tool for legitimate browsing, testing, viewing, verification, research, compatibility checks, localization checks, and similar lawful purposes.

3.2. The Web Proxy is a restricted feature. It is not a general-purpose anonymous browsing right, not a VPN service, not a censorship-circumvention guarantee, and not a promise that any Target Site will be accessible.

3.3. For the Web Proxy feature, the Operator and/or its processors, infrastructure providers, or technical partners may, to the extent necessary to operate the feature, technically receive, fetch, relay, render, transform, filter, buffer, cache, or block requests and responses associated with a Web Proxy Session.

3.4. The User acknowledges that access to a Target Site through the Web Proxy may still be visible, detectable, rate-limited, challenged, blocked, logged, or otherwise acted upon by the Target Site, network operators, security services, or competent authorities.

3.5. The Operator does not represent or warrant that the Web Proxy will make the User anonymous, untraceable, undetectable, or compliant with the terms of any Target Site.

4. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

4.1. The User must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements.

4.2. If the User acts on behalf of a company or other organization, the User represents and warrants that they have authority to bind that entity.

4.3. The User is responsible for all activity conducted through their account, browser session, device, API token, authentication credentials, or access method used with the Web Proxy.

4.4. The Operator may require registration, email verification, CAPTCHA, anti-abuse verification, phone verification, KYC/KYB checks, or any other reasonable verification measure before allowing access to the Web Proxy.

5. Permitted Use

5.1. Subject to this Policy and applicable law, the User may use the Web Proxy only for lawful and legitimate purposes, including:

  • viewing publicly available web pages;

  • testing website display, localization, or compatibility;

  • lawful QA, debugging, or troubleshooting;

  • ad verification, SEO checks, content previewing, or similar legitimate review functions;

  • other uses expressly approved by the Operator.

5.2. The User must use the Web Proxy in a manner that is proportionate, non-abusive, and consistent with the intended technical and business purpose of the feature.

6. Prohibited Uses

6.1. The User may not use, attempt to use, or allow any other person to use the Web Proxy for any unlawful, harmful, deceptive, abusive, or unauthorized purpose.

6.2. Without limitation, the following are prohibited:

  • phishing;

  • fraud or attempted fraud;

  • impersonation;

  • account takeover;

  • credential stuffing;

  • brute force attacks;

  • vulnerability probing or exploitation without express authorization;

  • unauthorized scanning of ports, services, hosts, applications, or infrastructure;

  • malware delivery, malicious code injection, or command-and-control activity;

  • spam or mass unsolicited communications;

  • ad fraud, click fraud, fake engagement, fake traffic generation, or abusive automation;

  • denial-of-service attacks or traffic flooding;

  • scraping, harvesting, extraction, or collection of data in violation of law, contractual restrictions, or enforceable access restrictions;

  • bypassing paywalls, authentication walls, geoblocks, anti-bot systems, rate limits, session controls, CAPTCHAs, robots restrictions, or other technical protection measures;

  • accessing, submitting, or transmitting unlawful content;

  • copyright infringement or other intellectual property infringement;

  • stalking, harassment, threats, or abuse;

  • unlawful surveillance, unlawful interception, or unlawful collection of personal data;

  • use in connection with child sexual abuse material, terrorism-related activity, violent extremism, trafficking, ransomware, sanctions evasion, export-control violations, or any other serious criminal activity;

  • any use that violates the terms of use, acceptable use rules, or access restrictions of a Target Site.

6.3. The User may not use the Web Proxy to interact with any service where unauthorized or deceptive access would create elevated legal, security, or consumer risk, including banking, payment, government, tax, healthcare, corporate SSO, email, cloud admin panels, or similar sensitive systems, unless the Operator has expressly allowed such use in writing.

6.4. The User may not use the Web Proxy to enter credentials belonging to another person, organization, or account that the User is not lawfully authorized to access.

7. Compliance With Third-Party Rules

7.1. The User is solely responsible for ensuring that each use of the Web Proxy complies with:

  • applicable law;

  • sanctions and export-control rules;

  • data protection and privacy rules;

  • intellectual property law;

  • consumer protection law;

  • computer misuse and cybercrime laws;

  • the terms, conditions, robots rules, access policies, and technical restrictions of each Target Site.

7.2. The Operator does not grant the User any right to access any Target Site where the User would otherwise have no right to access it.

7.3. The Operator does not authorize the User to bypass contractual restrictions, access controls, or anti-abuse protections of any third party.

8. Sensitive Data and User Responsibility

8.1. The User must not use the Web Proxy to access, submit, upload, input, or process highly sensitive personal data, payment card data, government identifiers, medical data, secrets, or other confidential information unless the User has independently assessed the legal and security implications and is fully authorized to do so.

8.2. The Operator may restrict or prohibit logins, file uploads, downloads, form submissions, script execution, cookies, headers, sessions, or other functionality for security, legal, technical, or business reasons.

8.3. The User acknowledges that the Web Proxy may not be suitable for confidential, regulated, privileged, or high-risk activities.

9. Access Controls and Right to Block

9.1. The Operator may, at any time and without any duty to provide access to a particular Target Site, block, deny, restrict, suspend, rate-limit, throttle, filter, challenge, delay, sanitize, rewrite, or terminate access to any Target Site or category of Target Sites.

9.2. The Operator may do so for any legitimate reason, including where the Operator reasonably considers such action necessary or appropriate for:

  • legal compliance;

  • protection of users;

  • protection of third parties;

  • prevention of crime, fraud, or abuse;

  • security of the platform or infrastructure;

  • contractual obligations owed to partners or providers;

  • intellectual property concerns;

  • privacy or data protection concerns;

  • network stability;

  • reputational risk;

  • business policy;

  • operational efficiency.

9.3. The Operator may maintain and update, manually or automatically:

  • deny-lists;

  • allow-lists;

  • category-based filters;

  • geo-based restrictions;

  • protocol restrictions;

  • file-type restrictions;

  • domain, URL, path, keyword, or pattern-based restrictions;

  • session-level or account-level restrictions.

9.4. The Operator has no obligation to disclose the identity of blocked Target Sites, the criteria for blocking, internal abuse-detection thresholds, or the details of security controls.

9.5. The User has no contractual right to uninterrupted access to any specific domain, website, platform, service, URL, content type, region, protocol, or destination through the Web Proxy.

10. Monitoring, Logging, and Abuse Detection

10.1. To operate, secure, and enforce this Policy, the Operator may monitor and process technical and service-related information associated with Web Proxy use, including:

  • account identifiers;

  • source IP addresses;

  • destination domains and URLs;

  • timestamps;

  • request volume;

  • protocol and header information;

  • browser and device signals;

  • response codes;

  • file types;

  • session events;

  • abuse indicators;

  • security alerts;

  • complaint data.

10.2. The Operator may use automated and manual tools to detect, investigate, prevent, and respond to abuse, fraud, unlawful activity, security threats, or Policy violations.

10.3. The Operator may preserve logs, metadata, and relevant records for compliance, security, incident response, dispute resolution, and cooperation with competent authorities, subject to applicable law and the Privacy Policy.

10.4. The User must not expect the Web Proxy to operate as a zero-knowledge, non-filtering, non-logging, or secrecy-preserving service.

11. Third-Party Content and No Endorsement

11.1. The Web Proxy may display, relay, or make accessible third-party content from Target Sites. Such content belongs to the relevant third party and remains the responsibility of the relevant third party or the User, as applicable.

11.2. The Operator does not endorse, verify, moderate in advance, or guarantee the legality, safety, accuracy, availability, or appropriateness of any Target Site or third-party content accessible through the Web Proxy.

11.3. The Operator may remove, disable, interrupt, or refuse access to any content or Target Site where the Operator reasonably believes that access is unlawful, harmful, infringing, risky, or contrary to this Policy.

12. Complaints, Notices, and Cooperation

12.1. Any person or entity may notify the Operator that a Target Site, URL, resource, or use of the Web Proxy is unlawful, infringing, abusive, or otherwise in violation of this Policy.

12.2. The Operator may investigate any such notice and may take any action it reasonably considers appropriate, including blocking access, suspending users, preserving records, or responding to competent authorities.

12.3. The Operator may disclose relevant information where required by law, court order, lawful request, or where reasonably necessary to protect the Operator, users, third parties, or the public from harm, subject to applicable law.

12.4. The Operator may cooperate with law enforcement, regulators, courts, rights holders, network providers, fraud-prevention services, and affected third parties in relation to misuse of the Web Proxy.

13. Suspension and Termination

13.1. The Operator may immediately suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Web Proxy, with or without notice, where the Operator reasonably believes that:

  • the User has violated this Policy;

  • the User has violated the Terms of Service or applicable law;

  • the Web Proxy is being used for abuse, fraud, or unlawful conduct;

  • a Target Site or usage pattern creates security, legal, operational, or reputational risk;

  • suspension is required for maintenance, updates, or infrastructure protection;

  • access should be restricted in response to a complaint, notice, or lawful request.

13.2. The Operator may also suspend related accounts, sessions, API access, or associated services where reasonably necessary to prevent circumvention or repeated abuse.

13.3. Repeated or serious violations may result in permanent blocking, refusal of future access, deletion of accounts as permitted by law, and escalation to legal enforcement channels.

14. User Liability and Indemnity

14.1. The User is solely responsible for all actions performed through the Web Proxy using the User's account, credentials, session, device, or technical access path.

14.2. To the fullest extent permitted by law, the User shall defend, indemnify, and hold harmless the Operator and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, processors, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising out of or related to:

  • the User's use or misuse of the Web Proxy;

  • the User's breach of this Policy;

  • the User's violation of law or third-party rights;

  • the User's interaction with any Target Site through the Web Proxy.

14.3. If the User is a consumer, this clause applies only to the extent permitted by applicable mandatory law.

15. No Warranty; No Guarantee of Access

15.1. The Web Proxy is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, subject to any mandatory rights under applicable law.

15.2. The Operator makes no representation or warranty that:

  • any Target Site will be reachable;

  • any content will be rendered correctly;

  • sessions will be uninterrupted;

  • cookies, scripts, authentication flows, uploads, downloads, forms, or interactive features will work;

  • the Web Proxy will be compatible with any given site or purpose;

  • the Web Proxy will not be detected, blocked, challenged, or restricted by a Target Site.

15.3. Access outcomes may vary due to technical, contractual, geographic, legal, or anti-abuse restrictions beyond the Operator's control.

16. Relationship With Main Terms

16.1. This Policy forms part of the contractual rules governing the User's access to OnlineProxy.io.

16.2. All disclaimers, liability limitations, dispute clauses, privacy terms, enforcement rights, and compliance provisions in the main Terms of Service also apply to the Web Proxy unless expressly stated otherwise here.

16.3. If the User is a consumer, any mandatory rights under applicable consumer law remain unaffected.

17. Changes to This Policy

17.1. The Operator may amend this Policy by publishing an updated version on the website.

17.2. Changes may take effect immediately where necessary for legal compliance, abuse prevention, security, or infrastructure protection.

17.3. Continued use of the Web Proxy after the effective date of an updated Policy constitutes acceptance of the revised Policy, to the extent permitted by law.
