How to set up a proxy on the MacOS operating system and Safari browser

Setting up proxies on Mac OS

To configure proxies on Mac, select the Apple menu > "System Preferences"

Go to System Preferences

Click on "Network"

Go to the "Network" section

In the list on the left, select the network service, click on "Advanced", then click on "Proxy".

Open advanced parameters

Choose the desired protocol for connection. Then enter the required IP and port number.

Enter the values for IP, ports, username, and password

Enter the username and password if the proxy requires authentication. Click "Apply".

Setting up proxies in Safari

To configure proxies in Safari, select the Apple menu > "System Preferences".

Go to browser settings

In the "Extensions" section, click on the "Change settings" button.

Open advanced settings and go to the "change settings" section

Next, you will be redirected to the computer settings, repeat the actions as when installing a proxy on Mac.
