On Mac

To configure proxy server settings on macOS , follow these steps:

  • Click on the Apple icon to open the drop-down menu.
  • In the menu, select "System Preferences".
  • In the "System Preferences" window, click on "Network".
  • Go to the "Advanced" tab.
  • Finally, select "Proxy".

After this, you will reach the web proxy settings for Discord on macOS. Unlike Windows, macOS offers a simpler approach, allowing you to manually configure proxy servers only.

Take the following steps in Discord:

  • Activate "Secure Web Proxy".
  • Enter the proxy server address and port number.

On Android Phones

  1. In the menu that appears, select "Settings", then "Appearance" in the "General Settings" section. Scroll down and tap "Advanced Settings" to open the "Advanced" menu. You should now see the "Proxy" section, where you can configure the Discord proxy server.
  2. Tap on "Proxy Server" and enter the information provided by the proxy server provider in the fields that appear. Make sure you use the correct address in both cases. When entering port numbers, add a colon at the beginning. For example, if the port number is 8080, enter :8080 in the Port field.
  3. After entering all the information correctly, click the "Save Proxy" button. If you receive an error message, double-check the information you entered to ensure it matches the proxy provider's data.

After saving the proxy server settings, Discord will use it every time you open the application.
